![]() ![]() (I am aware people stream snipe plenty, but a stream delay, as well as, well, not streaming, can remedy that problem.) I tried Googling the topic but the only results were either people accusing someone who was playing really well of cheating, or one actual clip of some assholes cheating on the client in 2017. How present is actual cheating on FACEIT? I am of course referencing here the likes of software cheating, so wallhack, aimhack, etc. I ended up keeping my mouth shut, letting the man rage a bit - he was underperforming in the kills department, however was maintaining solid team communication and providing decent utility that was helping us keep the rounds close, and eventually start winning them. ![]() I am of course familiar with the rigour of the FACEIT anti-cheat client and find it one of the main appeals of using the platform to begin with. However before saying that, I wondered how true that actually was. The FACEIT anti-cheat client gives your computer a colonoscopy and it's not the same as matchmaking where the enemy has an external soundboard for different types of hacks. I dismissed the accusations of course, considering it was only the beginning of the game and the rounds were all very close, and was about to comfort my teammate by telling him that he obviously cannot be cheating. He was not spinbotting, not hitting unreal shots through walls or smokes, but did appear to be performing at a level that was greater than our own. ![]() It was only the beginning of the game, we had lost four rounds and were on our fifth, when a player who was performing quite well on the enemy team was - in classic matchmaking fashion - accused by one of my teammates for cheating. Just recently I had found myself in a game of FACEIT Premium, where the average rank of the players would be around 2 - 3. ![]()
